Flood Relief Work:

Cloudburst in Kashmir

Kashmir: The cloudburst and flash flood along with the inclement weather wreaked havoc across the region of Kashmir. These two cloudbursts and flash floods occurred in two different regions, resulting in widespread loss of property, household things, livestock, etc along with a few lives. This triggered the evacuation of thousands of people from flooded homes around the area. The Macom Ministry a voluntary, non-profit organization distributed ration kits worth Rs30,000 each among all families affected by floods in Kashmir and flood-affected villagers were also served food at a flood relief camp in Kashmir.  We also carried out medical check-ups of people in flood relief camps and advised them to continue maintaining social distancing.

Covid-19 Relief Work:

Covid Relief Work

Covid-19, one of the most dangerous and deadly virus has killed many people, snatched jobs from poor and rich people. Therefore in our battle against the deadly Covid-19, Macom Ministry has stood up for the poor, the marginalized and other frontline workers who are putting their lives at risk every day. We distributed ration and medical kits, masks, sanitizers etc. But the fight against Covid-19 isn’t over. It has led to a nationwide lockdown, creating fear and havoc among our lives. In such a situation, Macom Ministry has been a great support.

Free Medical Camps:

Medical Camp:

Free medical camps are set up with a sacred aim to bring awareness amongst the deprived population of the country who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about the diseases they are suffering from. So, Transparent Hands provide the importance and objectives of the medical camp free medical advice, medicine to the unfortunate people and refer them for specialized treatment or surgery whenever it is required. These camps make sure people are getting the healthcare at the right time, and seeing the doctor early enough before a small health problem turns serious.

Free Education among Poor Children:

Education Among Poor Children

Free and Compulsory Education are the rights of all Children.

India is a country with more than one billion people and just one-third of them can read. The Rapidly growing size of population, shortages of teachers, books, and basic facilities, and insufficient public funds to cover education costs are some of the nation’s toughest challenges. A disproportionate number of total out-of-school children in India are girls. What denies equal opportunities of children are serious social issues that have arisen out of caste, class and gender differences. The practice of child labor in India and resistance to sending girls to school in several parts of the country remain as genuine concerns. If the current trend continues, millions of underprivileged children will probably never set foot in a classroom. Macom Ministry a voluntary organization, has taken a step with a group of like-minded people to serve the marginalized and down trodden communities. This is the vision of giving free education to poor and under privileged people.

Community Development:

Self Help Group (SHG):

We have trained 120 women and made them self dependent. After the completion of training, 15 women started working with us and the rest of the women left and started their own business. The centres not only give education, to women but also help in providing and giving women employment that helps the women to help their families. This also helps the women to understand their worth and their value in the society. The women in our Self Help Groups are involved in making pickles, squashes, jams, juices etc. They are also involved in making wall decorations, wall hangings, key stands, bags etc. Whatever these women make, we sell them in various trade centers and whatever money we earn, it is used to fulfill the basic needs of these women.

Giving toilet facilities to slums of Dehradun & Safai Abhiyan & Plantation

Due to lack of toilet facility in the slums, its people are more likely to catch defferent diseases and infections that sometimes cause death as well. Looking at the serious needs of toilet facilities and following the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Macom Ministry provided toilet facilities to the slums of Dehradun and Macom Ministry also initiated plantation and Safai Abhiyan in defferent parts of India (Uttarakhand, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh).

Our Vision and Goal:

We have a vision and have set our goal to see a better India inspired by the Love of God.
